MEET KEVIN REMINGTON

Kevin Remington is a lifelong North Dakotan with deep roots in District 31. A graduate of Regent High School, he has spent his life serving his country, his community, and the industries that keep North Dakota strong.

Kevin and his wife, Lisa, have been married for nearly 40 years and live just outside of Regent near Indian Creek Dam. They are the parents of three children and grandparents to four. Sixteen years ago, they experienced the loss of their youngest son, a moment that strengthened their appreciation for family, faith, and community. Their twins Kevin Jr. and Kori, age 39, live in West Fargo and New Salem respectively.

Kevin retired in 2006 after 22 years of active federal service with the United States Army and North Dakota Army National Guard, concluding his career as a Command Sergeant Major. After military service, he continued working in North Dakota’s energy and agriculture sectors and later served on the Richardton City Commission, where he focused on modernization, transparency, and responsible infrastructure investment.

An avid outdoorsman, Kevin enjoys hunting, trapping, and fishing. He considers himself a fiscal conservative and social moderate, guided by common sense, accountability, and respect for the people he serves.
